In this role, you would lead or assist guided sensory walks around Ferry Meadows, helping others by creating friendships and companionships and building participants’ confidence whilst navigating Ferry Meadows. Read more
This free volunteer opportunity for young people aged 14-17 takes place fortnightly on Tuesdays 4.30-6.00 at Ferry Meadows and is a chance for to get involved in planning new projects in the Park, learning new skills, and meeting people. Read more
Are you 11-16 years old and passionate about the environment? Come and volunteer for a 6-month block of monthly volunteer sessions either at Ferry Meadows or Hampton Nature Reserve. Read more
Help us care for the sculptures for visitors to enjoy all year round. The sculptures need a regular clean and condition check, making sure they are clean of dirt and debris and checking for any wear or damage. Read more
Help visitors to have an engaging and enjoyable visit to Nene Park. This role is located at key meeting points throughout Ferry Meadows and will involve answering questions and supporting with enquiries as visitors make their way round the Park. Read more
In spring 2021, Longthorpe Tower (1290-1300) came under local management of Nene Park Trust, with support from English Heritage. Through this role, volunteers will learn more about the fascinating medieval history of the tower and bring it to life for visitors. Read more
