To assist Nene Park Trust in delivering public events in Nene Park.

Please note: we are currently recruiting for this role, particularly for school holidays and weekends.

What age is this suitable for?

  • Suitable for age 18 and over

Responsibilities

  • Support the Education and Activities Manager, Senior Education and Activities Officer, Education and Activities Officers and Activities Administrator in the delivery of public events.

You will need to show

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Willingness to learn about the Park and visitor offer
  • Willingness to undergo DBS check
  • Willingness to undergo other training e.g. disability awareness
  • Willingness to work in all weathers
  • Willingness to be First Aid trained
  • Ability to work as part of a team and unaccompanied
  • Reliability
  • Lots of enthusiasm and a can-do attitude

Availability

Public events take place throughout the year. Volunteers will be provided with a list of events and times when support would be welcomed and invited to sign up to attend as they wish.
