We would love to have your team participate in a Corporate Conservation Day at Nene Park. Bring a group of employees out together to promote teamwork and make a positive contribution to your local environment, for all to enjoy. We offer practical team days, delivering sessions outside, where a staff member will guide you through practical management tasks. No previous experience is required.

When

Sessions are most commonly run on Tuesday or Friday. However, we can be flexible with enough notice. We can offer a full or half-day depending on what works for your team.

Our busiest time & Activities

Our busiest time in the Park is during the autumn and winter months (September-March) as this is outside of bird nesting season, when we can do more conservation tasks such as coppicing, vegetation maintenance, bulb planting, and hedge cutting. During the spring and summer, tasks can range from weeding, garden maintenance, raking wildflower areas, and creating habitat piles.

• A staff member to guide you throughout the day and train you on your conservation activity

Suggested donation for the day

Organising and running these days does incur a cost in terms of staffing and equipment to the Trust. Therefore as a charity, we welcome voluntary donations to support this. Our suggested voluntary donation for a Conservation Day is £200 for a group of 20 people. This is an optional donation but we would greatly appreciate it if you are able to support us in this way. What else is on offer?

If you want to further enhance your experience we can also provide a combined day at Nene Outdoors where you can participate in team building activities such as canoeing, climbing, bushcraft cooking, and more. We also have a meeting room situated next to one of our lakes, which you can book to fit with your team day.

Prices start from £10 per person for an hour’s activity at Nene Outdoors.
