Volunteering group carrying out tasks in Nene ParkThe corporate volunteering programme at Nene Park gives organisations the opportunity to fulfil their key Corporate Social Responsibility values whilst giving back to their local community, by assisting our Park rangers and carrying out practical conservation tasks.

Volunteering can improve your corporate culture in many ways. It shows what your company stands for, encourages employees to work together, improves group skills and enhances corporate brand image.

Based in the beautiful surroundings of Nene Park in Peterborough, our volunteering opportunities offer a well-planned, safe and rewarding experience for all participants. Tasks vary with the seasons, from tree planting to harvesting willow, to gardening or improving habitat for wildlife.

Our volunteering sessions are organised at no charge, however, as a charity we welcome donations. Over £500 has been kindly donated by recent groups!

We offer a flexible approach to suit your schedules and can offer full day and half day sessions, working with groups of varying sizes. Due to the bird nesting season (February to August), our busier times for conservation tasks are from September to March, when we are able to trim and cut trees, shrubs and vegetation. Sessions most commonly run on a Tuesday or Friday, however we can be flexible with notice if you have a date set in mind!
