Self-led visits

Nene Outdoors logoAt Nene Park, we like nothing better than to see the Park being enjoyed by as many people as possible. With its range of habitats including woodland, meadow and wetland, Ferry Meadows Country Park makes an inspirational outdoor classroom for the imaginative teacher!

For teachers who want to lead their own visit to Ferry Meadows without booking on to one of our courses we have developed a Teachers Information Pack. The information provided in this pack is intended to help you plan your visit to ensure the very best experience for yourself and your pupils.

While we welcome visits from school groups at any time of year we ask that you read the information carefully and contact us in advance of your visit so that we can ensure that your activities are not affected by other events taking place in the Park. You will find a form to notify us of your planned visit at the back of the pack. Entry to the Park is free and parking is free to school groups who notify us of their visit in advance.

These new resource packs available for self-led school visits contain everything you need to hold an informative, interactive and immersive learning experience in the Park with your pupils.
