This role would suit enthusiastic individuals who feel passionate about the Park and who feel comfortable in a public-facing role.

Please note: We are currently recruiting for this role. We have some weekend sessions available at Ferry Meadows plus some weekday or weekend sessions available at other Nene Park locations.

 Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Visitor Ranger
  • Provide information and assistance to Park visitors
  • Report incidents and damage
  • Report inappropriate behaviour to the Visitor Ranger
  • Carry out site-wide patrols and checks
  • Tidy welcome areas

 You will need to show

  • Excellent communication skills and enjoy engaging with people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Willingness to learn more about the Park and visitor offer
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check and/or relevant training
  • Willingness to work in all weathers
  • Ability to work as part of a team and unaccompanied
  • Reliability, flexibility, lots of enthusiasm and a can-do attitude

 Availability

 Working as part of a rota we welcome applications from those able to give at least 3-4 hours per week during park working hours.
