Nene Park in Peterborough is looking for volunteers aged 14-17 to join their brand new Young People's Forum.

The Young People's Forum is being set up to involve young people in Nene Park's future projects and activities, helping us to gain new perspectives on new projects and new perspectives on how we can make the Park a safe, relevant and fun place for all to visit.

Starting in January 2024. you will participate in a variety of activities in Ferry Meadows, run fortnightly, over 6 sessions on a Tuesday evening from 4.30pm to 6pm. These training activities will provide insight into our projects, helping to inspire and encourage innovation whilst developing skills.

To join the Nene Park Trust Young People's Forum you must be:
- Aged 14-17
- Living or working in Peterborough or the surrounding area
- Interested in supporting, promoting and delivering new projects and initiatives for young people in Nene Park

Tuesday 16 January: Welcome activities - meet the staff and designing a Park

Tuesday 30 January: Designing a Park - model making activities

Tuesday 13 February: Campfire Chat - planning skills sharing events

Tuesday 27 February: World Garden wonders – growing and design activities

Tuesday 12 March: What’s On - Planning an event in the Park

Tuesday 26 March: Forum Social - Food and forum planning
