As a Try Running Leader you would gain your LiRF (Leadership in Running Fitness) qualification and lead sessions to help people to try running and improve their health and wellbeing. You will be supporting sessions and leading on them alongside a Nene Park member of staff. Representing Nene Park Trust, you will welcome people and give them the encouragement they need.
Your role will include you giving fitness advice that you have learnt from the LiRF course and signposting people to running groups.

  • Willingness to help people who require support (mentally and physically)
  • Willingness to undergo other training (when required)

  • Reliable
  • Lots of enthusiasm and a can-do attitude
  • Willingness to learn
  • A DBS is required for this role which will be processed via the LiRF course

What availability is required?
