Around fifty years ago, the idea of Ferry Meadows was being imagined. Professor Stephen Upex, lead a team of archaeologists to discover the history of Romans at Ferry Meadows before the park was created. In this session, Stephen will have some of the pottery that he found for you to handle and look at in detail and he will talk about the roman history that is under your feet. Read more

The 24th Peterborough Dragon Boat Festival takes place on Saturday 22nd June 2024 at Peterborough Rowing Lake and more than 48 teams are expected to compete over the 200m racecourse, watched by several thousand spectators.
