During his time here, Matthew has ‘re-master planned’ the Park’s extensive landholding and implemented a ten-year strategy ‘Doing More with More’. Matthew is passionate about the environment and the benefits it provides. Previously, he held senior roles at the Land Trust and Norfolk Wildlife Trust. He takes an active role with The Parks Alliance, is a Board Member of Cambridgeshire Local Nature Partnership, a Member of the Broads Authority & Trustee of Living Sport.
Director of Business Services
Phil is the Trust’s Company Secretary and director of the trading subsidiary company Nene Park Services Ltd. He has a degree in Economics, is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Diploma in Charity Accounting. He has held a number of senior finance and corporate services positions in the not for profit sector and is currently Treasurer of Peterborough Cathedral. Phil has lived in Peterborough for over 30 years and is a regular visitor to the Park.
Head of Operations
Oliver is responsible for the day to day management of all Park operations. In addition he is Chair for the Northamptonshire Local Nature Partnership and Nene Valley Nature Improvement Area. He is also on the Boards of the Cambridgeshire Local Nature Partnership and River Nene Regional Park CIC and oversees Cambridgeshire’s Future Parks Accelerator Programme. A Marine Biologist, he has worked in the conservation & environmental education sectors for over 20 years
Head of Fundraising and Marketing
Adrian heads our fundraising and marketing, and is responsible for external communication and charitable income generation for the Trust. With over 20 years fundraising and financial management experience, Adrian has expertise in securing and managing national and international statutory funds, EU grants and UK/US Trusts and Foundations. He is a Trustee of the Nene Valley Railway and on the Research Committee of the Nene Valley Archaeological Trust
Head of Development
Andrew leads on new projects in the Trust from community development to new business and infrastructure projects. His background is in countryside and environmental management with a specialism in forestry. Andrew has previously worked in various project management roles across the not-for-profit, charity and commercial sectors as well as having practical land management experience. He has a young family and is a learning gardener.
Education and Activities Manager
Anna is a qualified teacher of science, an Accredited Practitioner of the Institute for Outdoor Learning and a founding member of the Outdoor Learning Hub. Anna joined the Trust in 2010 and has spent the last 10 years building an education and activities service which now sees over 5,500 students per year engage in educational activities as well as over 21,000 members of the public take part in NPT activities and events.
Greg is responsible for the daily operational management of Nene Park Trust land, buildings, health and safety and facilities. Greg's background is in countryside management with a specialism and passion in arboriculture. Greg has worked in the conservation and countryside management sector for over 25 years. Passionate about nature and the great outdoors, Greg has a young family and is a keen road cyclist.
Mark is the Trust’s management accountant and technical lead on ICT matters. Mark joined the Trust in 2003, coming from a commercial background after completing his degree in Business at Cambridge. Over the past 17 years, Mark has witnessed significant changes and improvements to the Trust’s operations and the habitat for both wildlife and visitors.
Selina is responsible for supporting the Trust’s Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees, as well as managing human resources and overseeing the management of the Trust’s head office, including its administration officers. Selina has a history of working in the environment charity industry and is passionate about sustainability and health and wellbeing.
