Located in the heart of Ferry Meadows in Peterborough, both campsites are ideally situated to discover the beautiful surroundings of Nene Park and to take advantage of all the exciting activities on offer at Nene Outdoors Watersports and Activity Centre, where campers can enjoy a 10% discount on Pay & Play watersports. They are also conveniently located close to Lakeside Kitchen & Bar, which offers a full menu and delicious treats available to eat in or take away and our Gift & Farm Shop, where you can find an exciting range of locally sourced produce from our own farm partners and suppliers across the Peterborough community. The Gift & Farm Shop also stocks a selection of BBQ and picnic items, including charcoal. In addition to discount at Nene Outdoors, campers also receive an exclusive 10% discount on purchases at the Gift & Farm Shop, Lakeside Kitchen & Bar and Ferry Meadows Café. Exclusive Hire at Lakeview

Located on the edge of Gunwade Lake, the aptly titled Lakeview bell tent campsite has stunning views across the water and, with its hedge boundary, is discreetly tucked away from the bustle of the rest of the Park.  Lakeview offers an easy camping experience, with 8 bell tents available within our private hire package. Set on wooden decking platforms, each bell tent can sleep up to 6 occupants and have simple hessian floor matting and LED lighting, just bring your own bedding! 

Lakeview is a place for quiet camping and enjoyment of the countryside for all ages. Therefore, we ask camping guests to ‘leave no trace’ and to be especially conscious of noise that could disturb the peace and tranquillity of fellow campers or the amazing wildlife found in the Park.

Lakeview facilities:

• Access to a covered weather shelter, benches, a campfire pit and wash area.
• Access to a fixed BBQ stand on the campsite. Other fixed BBQ stands are also available throughout Ferry Meadows.
• Access to the toilet and shower facilities at Nene Outdoors Watersports and Activity Centre.
• Access to a cold water tap for drinking and cooking on the campsite.
• Hire a firebowl for just £6 per night. Enjoy your own fire closer to your pitch, perfect for late night marshmallows. Book online or when you arrive to check in, we also have wood logs, kindling at £6 per load and British made charcoal at £8.50 per bag. 
• Mobile phone charging station £2 per charge. Available in our reception during opening hours, your phone or small device is securely locked away while it charges.  
• Car parking is available in the main visitor car park adjacent to Nene Outdoors Watersports and Activity Centre. Parking for one car is included within your campsite booking fee.
• Lakeview is a dog-friendly campsite.
• Bookings run from 1pm to 10am.
• Adult supervision required for under 18s.
• Please note no campervans, caravans or motorhomes are permitted.

Please note: Lakeview is located next to Gunwade Lake next to the water’s edge from the campsite.

Lakeview accessibility:

The campsite is a grass area with a hard-core track running through the centre.  There is vehicle access for cars to drop off equipment and ample parking space in the public car park nearby. Exclusive Hire at The Glade

Small, but perfectly formed, The Glade is our pitch-only site, where groups of families or friends can book the entire campsite for just £185 per night (minimum two nights) and enjoy spectacular views and beautiful sunsets across Gunwade Lake.
