    Friday 1st December saw the opening evening of the first ever Nene Park Winter Festival, which will run until Christmas at Lakeside in Ferry Meadows. Sughra Ahmed, MD of Peterborough Cultural Alliance joined Nene Park Trust to cut the tinsel and officially launch the festival, which welcomed thousands of visitors over the opening weekend.

    Power boat training is a key skill to know how to operate a powered craft safely and appropriately. To do this you can attend a course with us to achieve an RYA Level 2 Power Boat Certificate.     During his time here, Matthew has ‘re-master planned’ the Park’s extensive landholding and implemented a ten-year strategy ‘Doing More with More’. Matthew is passionate about the environment and the benefits it provides. Previously, he held senior roles at the Land Trust and Norfolk Wildlife Trust. He takes an active role with The Parks Alliance, is a Board Member of Cambridgeshire Local Nature Partnership, a Member of the Broads Authority & Trustee of Living Sport.

    Andrew MacDermott

    Director of Operations and Growth (Deputy CEO)
    Andrew oversees the operational work of the Trust, alongside ensuring delivery of our Master Plan and keeping other new initiatives on track and integrated across all our teams. Andrew has led many of the major changes and projects at the Trust over recent years. Holding a degree in Countryside and Environmental Management, Andrew has held a variety of roles in charities, not-for-profits and commercial consultancy.

    Head of Fundraising
    Adrian is responsible for charitable income generation across the Trust, including individual & corporate giving, Trusts & Foundations and statutory funds. With over 20 years fundraising and financial management experience, Adrian brings expertise in securing and managing grants and donations. He also oversees our work to monitor the social and environmental impact of the Trust. Adrian is a Trustee at Nene Valley Railway and Nenescape Landscape Partnership.

    Beki Sellick

    Trustee
    Beki is a Chartered Engineer, who has worked with, managed and led people and businesses within the public and private sectors, locally and internationally. She continues to apply her MEng degree to policies and practicalities in railways and sustainable transport in the UK. Beki enjoys life in Peterborough with her family and is a committed cyclist and local campaigner.

    Christine de Ferrars Green

    Trustee
    Christine is a lawyer who has worked with landowners and developers in the local region for many years.  Through her business she has developed a particular expertise in advising on the long-term provision of community open spaces and shared facilities.  Christine loves to be outdoors and is a great believer in the value of open spaces for physical and mental well-being, in managing the environment for those who come after us, and in accessibility for all.

    Selina Wilson

    Head of Organisational Development
    Selina oversees organisational development at the Trust, promoting a positive working culture in the organisation, implementing change management processes, managing learning and development and human resources. Additionally Selina oversees the Administrative Team and acts as Company Secretary for the Board. Selina has a history of working in the environment charity industry and is passionate about sustainability and health and wellbeing.

    Jen Marscheider

    Head of Marketing
    Jen is responsible for the marketing and communications for the Trust as well as overseeing the retail offering at the Visitor Centre. Jen has over 18 years’ experience working in marketing across a variety of industries from the arts to automotive. Jen previously worked as a marketing consultant, supporting trusts, charities and visitor attractions to tell their story, and was instrumental in securing the title of 2021 UK City of Culture for Coventry.

  • Stephanie Peachey

    Stephanie Peachey

    Head of Visitor Engagement
    Stephanie oversees our education and learning activities, Nene Outdoors offer and our growing Events programme. With Steph’s background in the arts and cultural sector, she brings expertise in cultural planning and development. She chairs a Creative People and Places programme in Fenland and West Suffolk, is a Director of Peterborough’s Cultural Partnership for Children and Young people and is part of the team behind the Peterborough Cultural Alliance.

  • Rob Pearce

    Rob Pearce

    Head of Parks Consultancy
    Rob is responsible for supporting the Trust in delivering greater impact by investing in opportunities which maximise commercial, social and environmental returns and delivering opportunities for growing the Trust and the ‘Park’. A qualified accountant Rob has worked at senior levels in the private, public and social enterprise sectors leading regeneration programmes. In 2021 he authored the national report Making Parks Count for the government.
