Make a splash with our full range of watersports activities on Gunwade Lake, with activities available between 11am and 6pm each day. Choose from swan, dragon and junior pedalos, row boats, stand up paddle boards, kayaks and canoes, dinghies and windsurfing. Book your activities online to avoid the queues.

The Beach at Orton Mere
The Beach at Orton Mere has fun for all the family, with unlimited access to fairground rides, crazy golf and a giant sandpit for just £10.99 per child for a 3 hour session. Run by Leslie Danter & Sons Amusements, this event is suitable for children age 2-10, sessions start at 10am or 2pm each day and includes free parking. Ride the Ferry Meadows Railway

Monday 21 August: Join our monthly Nature Tots or Wild Home Educator groups for nature-themed fun in the Park.

Tuesday 22 August - Bug Hunt: Discover the amazing creatures that make their home in the different habitats in Thorpe Meadows. Click here to book your place and choose from the morning or afternoon session.

Tuesday 22 August - Archery: Unleash your inner Robin Hood! Our archery sessions are 45 minutes long and take place at Nene Outdoors. Click here to book.

Wednesday 23 August - Social Walking Group: Join our Visitor Ranger and get to know a group of like-minded walkers on our '4 Waters Walk' from Orton Mere. This event is suitable for age 14 and over and is free to attend. Click here to book your place online or just turn up!

Thursday 24 August - FREE Pond Dipping: Come along to our free drop-in session between 12pm-3pm at Lynch Lake and spend some time pond dipping and identifying the fascinating creatures you find. Click for more details.

Thursday 24 August - Open Water Swimming: Come along and swim the 400m course on Gunwade Lake in these friendly sessions for all abilities. Suitable for age 9 and over. Register with NOWCA and get your first swim session free. Click here to find out more.

Sunday 27 August - RahRah Theatre Teddy Bear's Picnic Show: Bring along your favourite bear to our outdoor theatre show and join a fun, exciting adventure to get to the picnic on time! The show is packed full of props, puppets, well-known songs and dancing.
