From the 1^st February this year, the parking tariff will be increasing at all the Nene Park car parks by around 5%. 

As a charity with no public funding towards running costs, Nene Park Trust relies heavily on parking income to enable it to continue to maintain, nurture and develop the beautiful landscapes of Nene Park and the wide range of leisure and education activities, heritage and events. Increasing parking charges by around 5% is in line with inflation and is necessary to meet increasing running costs and continue to make important improvements to the Park.

As a result of visitor parking payments over the last year, the Trust has been able to create the new play area Fox Play, improve the toilet facilities at the Ferry Meadows café, raise funds for road repairs and carry out important forestry work, among many other projects.

The tariff increase will see visitors paying an additional 10p on a stay of up to 2 hours or an additional 20p for a stay of over four hours. Our annual parking memberships will also be increasing at all our car parks but they still offer amazing value, with the Ferry Meadows car park membership working out at just £1.54 a week.
