Power boat training is a key skill to know how to operate a powered craft safely and appropriately. To do this you can attend a course with us to achieve an RYA Level 2 Power Boat Certificate. This Forest School Leader training is designed for those who would like to set up and run a Forest School programme. Training takes place in person at Ferry Meadows Country Park. The theory elements of the course will be delivered in the comfortable surroundings of the Lakeside Meeting Room, while the practical skills sessions will take place outdoors in our dedicated Forest School site. In this workshop June will teach you techniques to cut your own glass and use a mould to create the shape you are looking for. You will learn about the different types of glass and how they are used is fused glass making. Read more
If you have already taken part in a fused glass workshop, take what you have learned so far and use different inclusions and types of glass to create a piece of art work that will be totally unique to you. June will teach you techniques to cut the glass. You could choose a land or seascape, feel free to bring a photo of your favourite place.
