Your Community Greenspace joins forces with Q Productions

Nene Park Trust is delighted to share that our Your Community Greenspace project will be collaborating with the fabulous Q Productions in 2023.

The teams are joining forces to bring the county's first interactive art installation that celebrates local #Identities to Ferry Meadows this summer.

Over the course of the next 12 months, both Your Community Greenspace and Q Productions will also be working closely with other national organisation to bring informed, educational and fun projects to the communities of Peterborough.

Led by Edward Smith (they/them) and Alex Daw (she/her), Q Productions are Peterborough's only inclusively queer LGBTQIA+ owned and led production company, who pride themselves on representing all minority groups. Find out more on the Q Productions Facebook page.

Your Community Greenspace is Nene Park's five year National Lottery Heritage Funded project, which aims to build bridges with the multi-cultural communities of Peterborough to make Ferry Meadows an inclusive community hub. Visit our project page to find out more.

Nene Nursery Mocktails and Magic

Join us at our beautifully green and colourful community plant Nursery and have fun making your own mocktails, using fruit juices, tonics, herbs, botanicals and berries.

Ferry Meadows is the ideal place for a family day out and one of the largest country parks in the region. Situated less than three miles from Peterborough city centre, at the heart of Nene Park, its varied landscapes make it the favourite destination for thousands of visitors throughout the year.
Water Pay & Play Activities

At Nene Outdoors, we run a ‘Pay and Play’ scheme, providing visitors of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to enjoy the watersports we have on offer. Book for half hour sessions on line or for one hour, book two consecutive time slots, hire our equipment and use our facilities.

Take a boat trip

Enjoy a relaxing boat trip around Overton Lake on 'Wyndham', our new electrically powered passenger boat, and discover more about our new passenger cruises and private hire services.
Play areas

Nene Park is a great place to play. Games on the meadows, adventures in the woodlands and three great play areas within Ferry Meadows to cater for all ages.
