We are very pleased to share that in a recent assessment by Visit England, Ferry Meadows Country Park has achieved an overall percentage score of 88% and consequently meets the criteria for an accredited attraction under the Visit England Quality Scheme. This score is an increase of 2% on the score in our last assessment in October 2019.

There were many strengths noted in the report of the assessed visit, in particular the praiseworthy visitor guide and map picked up onsite, which, together with the many information panels and finger post signs, ensure that all visitors are fully aware of what the park has to offer. Other strengths noted were the extremely high standards of customer care and staff were noted as going that extra mile to ensure that all visitors appreciate every aspect of the park. The score for this area has increased from 80% to 92%, which we are thrilled about.

We have areas that we need to continue to improve but we are very pleased that the hard work of our staff and volunteers has been recognised by this assessment and that Ferry Meadows continues to be a quality accredited visitor attraction.
