Spring 2020 Parklife out now!

Our new spring Parklife magazine is out now, packed with exciting news and developments from across Nene Park.

This edition features, among many other things, our photography competition, which is running throughout 2020; spring nature highlights to look out for across the Park and updates on volunteering, Nene Outdoors and our various National Lottery funded projects. The What's on: spring guide takes up a whopping five pages in this edition and is bursting with exciting activities and events for March, April and May.

You can also pick up a physical copy around the Park too: at the Visitor Centre & Gift Shop, Nene Outdoors, one of the Park cafes or the Caravan Park.

Nene Nursery Mocktails and Magic

Join us at our beautifully green and colourful community plant Nursery and have fun making your own mocktails, using fruit juices, tonics, herbs, botanicals and berries.

Ferry Meadows

Ferry Meadows is the ideal place for a family day out and one of the largest country parks in the region. Situated less than three miles from Peterborough city centre, at the heart of Nene Park, its varied landscapes make it the favourite destination for thousands of visitors throughout the year.
Water Pay & Play Activities

At Nene Outdoors, we run a ‘Pay and Play’ scheme, providing visitors of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to enjoy the watersports we have on offer. Book for half hour sessions on line or for one hour, book two consecutive time slots, hire our equipment and use our facilities.

Take a boat trip

Enjoy a relaxing boat trip around Overton Lake on 'Wyndham', our new electrically powered passenger boat, and discover more about our new passenger cruises and private hire services.
Play areas

Nene Park is a great place to play. Games on the meadows, adventures in the woodlands and three great play areas within Ferry Meadows to cater for all ages.
