Nene Park is pleased to be exhibiting a new painting by artist Miranda Creswell at Ferry Meadows Country Park. The beautiful watercolour painting, Early Sun, Early Moon, depicts swimmers watching the rising sun and setting moon from a river in winter. Miranda is currently Artist-In-Residence at the School of Archaeology, at Oxford University as part of the Ripple Effect, a public engagement project exploring rivers in prehistory. This is one of 11 installations that display original artworks alongside a description of local archaeology. You can view the other installations on The Ripple Effect website.

The painting is on display until 30 June close to Gunwade lake and the River Nene at Ferry Meadows.
