Ferry Meadows Dawn chorus

To mark #InternationalDawnChorus Day on Sunday 2 May, Nene Park Staff Chris and Melanie got up at the crack of dawn to record the Ferry Meadows dawn chorus and bring it to our visitors via video.

They spent two hours in Ferry Meadows between 4 - 6am on a cold late April morning and recorded the bird song in various parts of Ferry Meadows. The result is a flavour of the dawn chorus, brought to you in a video. Listen to the bird song and see how many different birds you can hear. Chris and Melanie name the birds as they go to help you identify them.

At Nene Outdoors, we run a ‘Pay and Play’ scheme, providing visitors of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to enjoy the watersports we have on offer. Book for half hour sessions on line or for one hour, book two consecutive time slots, hire our equipment and use our facilities.
