About us News Latest updates February Half Term Events There is something for all the family to enjoy at Nene Park this February half term. From Saturday 11th February, daily events and activities will be running in the Park, from our new tracks and signs session and bushcraft workshops to archery, climbing and our ever-popular holiday trail. In addition we'll be running daily watersports at Nene Outdoors. Check out our 'what's on guide' below to find out more and click the links to book your places. We look forward to seeing you! Activities on every day Pay & Play Watersports at Nene Outdoors: Open daily between 11am and 5pm, choose from swan pedalos, row boats, stand up paddle boards, kayaks and canoes. Book your activities online to avoid the queues.Complete the Holiday Trail at Ferry Meadows: Pick up a trail sheet from the Visitor Centre for £1 between 9am and 3pm, answer the questions as you walk around the Park. Return to the Visitor Centre and claim your tomato seeds prize to grow at home! Ride the Ferry Meadows Railway: Sit back and enjoy the ride! Events by date Monday 13th February - Nature Tots Monthly group for pre-school children, where you can enjoy messy nature-based crafts, time to explore the beautiful outdoors, story and song time. Monday 13th February - Wild Home Educators Outdoor monthly learning sessions for home schooled children with nature-focused activities. Tuesday 14th February - Climbing Wall The climbing wall is back out at Nene Outdoors! Great fun for children age 4 and over. Who will reach the top first? Wednesday 15th February – Bushcraft Tool Use Learn how to use a selection of tools including loppers and gimlets to turn elder sticks into items such as beads, jewellery and more.Wednesday 15th February – Bushcraft Firelighting & Cooking Learn techniques to light a fire without using matches, and use your fire to cook a tasty snack.Thursday 16th February – Archery Book an archery session and unleash your inner Robin Hood!Friday 17th February – NEW! Tracks and Signs Discover the creatures that live in Ferry Meadows using the signs they leave behind, and create your own plaster track to take home.
