Experience life as a park ranger!

Join with Cross Keys Homes and Nene Park Trust for a once in a lifetime work experience opportunity as a Park Ranger.

Over a total of eight weeks you’ll get to experience all the day to day activities carried out by the Rangers at Nene Park, as well as rangers at Froglife nature reserves. At the end of the course you will have some fantastic, practical experience to put on your CV.

The course is open to anyone aged between 18 and 24, and not currently in education, employment or training.

Starting on the 12th September, the course will run every Tuesday between 1pm and 3.30pm, for eight weeks.
We are able to help you with travel to the Park. Safety boots are provided.

Nene Nursery Mocktails and Magic

Join us at our beautifully green and colourful community plant Nursery and have fun making your own mocktails, using fruit juices, tonics, herbs, botanicals and berries.

Water Pay & Play Activities

At Nene Outdoors, we run a ‘Pay and Play’ scheme, providing visitors of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to enjoy the watersports we have on offer. Book for half hour sessions on line or for one hour, book two consecutive time slots, hire our equipment and use our facilities.

Enjoy a relaxing boat trip around Overton Lake on 'Wyndham', our new electrically powered passenger boat, and discover more about our new passenger cruises and private hire services.

Nene Park is a great place to play. Games on the meadows, adventures in the woodlands and three great play areas within Ferry Meadows to cater for all ages.
