Announcing our work experience taster days

Are you aged 14-17 year old?

Do you enjoy being outdoors?

Would you like to find out more about working in tourism, parks & greenspace or events?

We are offering two-day work experience taster sessions on 13th and 14th April at Ferry Meadows where participants can take part in conservation work, marketing activities, meeting the rangers, and finding out how the Park is run. This is a great opportunity to gain work experience, develop confidence and learn new skills. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

The two days are FREE to attend & lunch and refreshments are included. Booking is essential - click here to book your place.

Nene Nursery Mocktails and Magic

Join us at our beautifully green and colourful community plant Nursery and have fun making your own mocktails, using fruit juices, tonics, herbs, botanicals and berries.

Water Pay & Play Activities

At Nene Outdoors, we run a ‘Pay and Play’ scheme, providing visitors of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to enjoy the watersports we have on offer. Book for half hour sessions on line or for one hour, book two consecutive time slots, hire our equipment and use our facilities.

Take a boat trip

Enjoy a relaxing boat trip around Overton Lake on 'Wyndham', our new electrically powered passenger boat, and discover more about our new passenger cruises and private hire services.
Play areas

Nene Park is a great place to play. Games on the meadows, adventures in the woodlands and three great play areas within Ferry Meadows to cater for all ages.
