Nene Park Art Club

Our fun monthly art workshops are a great opportunity to get creative, enjoy the outdoors and work with local artists. Art Club is for young people aged 14-17, no experience necessary and all materials are provided.

Saturdays 10.00-12.00

11 May, 8 June, 6 July

sessions will take place in the Discovery Den, Ferry Meadows. unless we email you otherwise

£20 per person for 4 workshops.

Nene Nursery Herb Distillation

Louise from Mentley Farm in Hertfordshire will be visiting us to demo the process of distilling herbs and we will have a range of herb themed activities to take part in!
Pay and Play hire

Boat hire is available at Nene Outdoors every day during the May half term school holiday. Will you try something new or do you have a favourite boat to enjoy the lake?
Birdwatching for families

Come and discover the remarkable birds that fly, feed and roost across Ferry Meadows. We will help you to identify some the birds and show you how to use binoculars effectively.

Ferry Meadows is the ideal place for a family day out and one of the largest country parks in the region. Situated less than three miles from Peterborough city centre, at the heart of Nene Park, its varied landscapes make it the favourite destination for thousands of visitors throughout the year.
Water Pay & Play Activities

At Nene Outdoors, we run a ‘Pay and Play’ scheme, providing visitors of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to enjoy the watersports we have on offer. Book for half hour sessions on line or for one hour, book two consecutive time slots, hire our equipment and use our facilities.
