Summer Nights at Ferry Meadows: A programme of open-air cinema and theatre

Experience Disney family favourite Tangled (PG) for FREE at our open-air cinema in the heart of Ferry Meadows, thanks to Gateway Film Festival!

Walt Disney Pictures presents Tangled, a story of adventure, heart, humor and hair--lots of hair. When the kingdom's most wanted--and most charming--bandit Flynn Rider hides out in a mysterious tower, he's taken hostage by Rapunzel, a beautiful and feisty tower-bound teen with 70 feet of magical, golden hair. Flynn's curious captor, in search of a ticket out of the tower in which she's been locked for many years, strikes a deal with the handsome thief. The unlikely duo sets off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse, an over-protective chameleon and a gruff gang of pub thugs.

Spread your blankets out on the grass in front of the big screen and enjoy the film!

Thanks to Gateway Film Festival, this film is free to attend, but booking is required.

Gates open at 4.30pm, with the movie starting at 5pm. FREE parking is included with your open-air cinema ticket. Food, snacks and drinks will be available to purchase on-site, plus picnics are welcome!

Ferry Meadows is the ideal place for a family day out and one of the largest country parks in the region. Situated less than three miles from Peterborough city centre, at the heart of Nene Park, its varied landscapes make it the favourite destination for thousands of visitors throughout the year.
Water Pay & Play Activities

At Nene Outdoors, we run a ‘Pay and Play’ scheme, providing visitors of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to enjoy the watersports we have on offer. Book for half hour sessions on line or for one hour, book two consecutive time slots, hire our equipment and use our facilities.
