How much does the Easter Adventure Trail cost and what’s included?
£3.50 per child, supervising adults are free.
This includes trail activity booklet, pencil, games and a chocolate Easter Egg* prize!
*free from option is a brownie

Do I need to book online?
No! It’s nice and easy, just turn up to our Easter HQ Hatch at the far end of Lakeside Kitchen & Bar in Ferry Meadows to join in the fun. 

Who is the trail suitable for?
The trail is designed for children of all ages and their families. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Where can I collect my adventure trail booklet?
You’ll find our Easter HQ in the 'ice cream stand' to the left of the entrance to Lakeside Kitchen & Bar in Ferry Meadows. What3Words: Holds.gain.global

What else can I expect from the trail?
In your Easter Adventure Trail activity booklet, you’ll find a trail map, wildlife quiz and a scavenger hunt to complete along the way. You’ll also come across four family-fun games to try, all with a hoppy Easter theme! Games include:
•    Land the butterfly on the flower
•    Egg and spoon race
•    Bean Bag throw
•    Rabbit hoop throw 

Can I pay cash and card for the trail?
Both cash and card payments are welcome.

How long will the trail take?
30-40 minutes, depending on any wait time there may be for the activities along the way.

Is the trail suitable for prams/buggies?
The trail leads through a woodland terrain. It may become muddy in places depending on the latest weather conditions. We advise against bringing prams with small wheels. 

Is the trail wheelchair accessible?
The trail leads through a woodland terrain, which will be accessible to wheelchair users in dry weather. In the case of wet weather, the paths can get really muddy, and unfortunately they become unsuitable for wheelchair users. This trail is not suitable for mobility scooters. Will there be a toilet facility?
Yes, the toilet block at Lakeside will be available which is located next to the new Lakeside car park.
There is also a baby changing facility and accessible toilet.

Car parking 
There is plenty of parking in Ferry Meadows! The nearest car park to the Easter Adventure Trail is the new car park located at the Lakeside end of the Park. Standard parking charges apply. What should I wear?
This is an outdoor trail so we recommend wearing suitable clothing and footwear depending on the weather!
