Are you a real ‘people person’ who enjoys being in the great outdoors? Would you enjoy helping visitors to have an engaging and enjoyable visit to Nene Park?

In this role you would be located at key meeting points throughout Ferry Meadows, answering questions and supporting with enquiries as visitors made their way around the Park.

  • Suitable for age 18 and over

What will your responsibilities be?

  • To welcome and assist visitors who are visiting Nene Park, including Ferry Meadows and the wider estate
  • Signpost visitors to key areas, enabling them to explore the Park’s heritage and wildlife sites
  • Help visitors navigate around the park, providing maps and information on key routes
  • Share knowledge of Nene Park’s natural and cultural heritage
  • Share knowledge of day-to-day activities in the park
  • Promote community activities to visitors
  • Support lone visitors through companionship
  • Work closely with the Duty Ranger of the day

 What will you need to show?

  • An engaging and enthusiastic personality
  • Good communication skills
  • A willingness to undergo relevant training including first aid training and safeguarding
  • Willingness to learn about Nene Park’s history, heritage and key wildlife habitats
