Lead a Conservation Group to help to improve the Park for both people and nature.

We are currently recruiting for this role and opportunities are available on a Monday afternoon. Previous experience is not essential although the role would suit people who have some leadership experience or who are keen to develop their leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of volunteers to carry out practical conservation and maintenance tasks.
• Work closely with Community Ranger and NPT staff including volunteer supervisors
• Be willing to undertake 1 day training in emergency first aid (essential)
• Drive a Trust vehicle (optional)

 You will need to show

• Willingness to follow instructions
• Ability to led a small group of volunteers
• Ability to work well as part of a group
• Willingness to be first aid trained.
• Willingness to undertake other training
• Willingness to attend occasional meetings
• Compliance with health and safety procedures
• Punctuality
• Lots of enthusiasm
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to drive NPT vehicle (optional)
• Work alongside NPT volunteer supervisors
• Willingness to volunteer in all weathers.
• Show reliability and flexibility

Mondays or Wednesdays- 9.30am-12.00 or 1.15pm-3.45pm
