At Nene Park Trust we are so proud to play our part in positively affecting those who visit us, with one of our main objectives being to improve the conditions of life for those who live in Peterborough through parks and greenspaces.

  

We often hear from visitors sharing with us how grateful they are to have a space local to them where they can find moments of calm, make memories and spend time with significant people in nature. The effect greenspaces can have on an individual is often taken for granted, but this festive period we are taking the time to highlight them, you can follow along on our social media where we will be sharing interesting information and looking to hear from you about the experiences you have had at Nene Park.

If you feel passionately about the positive effects greenspace has had on you and want to make sure others can have the same, support our campaign by donating to the Trust, money received will help to make sure Nene Park is here to benefit the community forever.

You could even get involved with our Christmas stars...

Christmas Stars are back!

Get involved and decorate our handmade wooden stars to go on display around the Visitor Centre at Ferry Meadows, bringing some sparkle to the Park for the festive period!

You can collect a star from the Visitor Centre, decorate it at home in any way you would like (just remember they will be outside in all weathers!) then return it to the visitor centre to be hung up.

There is a suggested donation of £2 per star, with all the donations supporting the work of the Trust and helping to fund the work we do for the community.

There are also three drop in decorating sessions at Christmas at Ferry Meadows in the Craft Cabin, where all the fun materials will be provided ready for you to get creative. You do not need to book this event, simply pop along whenever you feel like it:
