Back for its fifth year, this free-to-attend weekend festival promises to be another fabulous celebration of our city and all the reasons we love it – our culture, our music, our diversity and our talented communities.
This year we’re linking up with the National Year of Reading and will fill our festival with stories – not just in books but in music, poetry, performances, our communities and in everyone’s lives and experiences. Join us to tell your story!
And of course, you’ll still find all the things you love about the festival – world food vendors, a lively bar, amusements, local craft stalls and plenty of surprises around every corner.
Mark your calendars and keep an eye here for more updates over the coming weeks. We can’t wait to celebrate our city and stories with you!
In the meantime if you are a performer, food vendor, would like to have a stall or would just like to find out more about how you could get involved with your community, please email festivals@neneparktrust.org.uk

Peterborough Celebrates Festival is a community event for Peterborough and we want YOU to be part of the excitement!
The theme of this year’s Festival is The Year of the story. In support of the National Year of Reading we’re championing the stories, voices, and creativity of our city, and you or your group is invited to join in on the fun!
Help us create an amazing Story Tunnel filled with contributions from schools, community groups, and individuals from across the city. Your creations will be displayed at the festival in Ferry Meadows, letting everyone immerse themselves in the story of the city and its people.
We’d love for you to craft a page for our community story titled ‘My Page in Peterborough’s Story.
Here are some ideas:
What you need to take part:
