Bike Hire at Nene Outdoors

Hire a bike from Nene Outdoors Watersports & Activity Centre in Ferry Meadows. We offer a great range of bikes for adults and children, including mountain bikes and e-bikes, making it easy for everyone to enjoy cycling around the Park. And don’t worry about safety, helmets are included free with every hire.

We also have specially adapted bikes available to hire – a tandem and a trike.

Whether you’re out for a fun family ride or just want to explore at your own pace, cycling is a great way to get around and discover all the Park has to offer.

Cycle Trails in Nene Park

There are two clearly marked cycle trails in Nene Park, as well as a digital cycling route. Just ask the team at Nene Outdoors for trail maps and advice.

  • The Family Trail
    Follow the blue markers on a 4 mile (6.4km) circular cycle route through Ferry Meadows, starting at Lakeside. This trail is ideal for families and relaxed rides.
  • The Boathouse Trail
    Follow the blue and red markers on a 7.5 mile (12km) circular route through Ferry Meadows and the wider Nene Park, perfect for a longer cycle around Peterborough.
  • Digital Cycle Trail
