Get ready for adventure at Nene Outdoors Watersports & Activity Centre in Ferry Meadows! From exciting watersports on Gunwade Lake to action-packed land activities, there’s something for everyone. Open from March to October, Nene Outdoors is the perfect destination for outdoor fun.

Watersports Hire

Looking for a splash of adventure? At Nene Outdoors Watersports & Activity Centre in Ferry Meadows, Peterborough, our watersports hire makes it easy for everyone to get out on Gunwade Lake and have some outdoor fun! Perfect for families, beginners or anyone up for a little adventure.

Book online for swan and dragon pedalos, row boats, stand up paddleboards, kayaks and canoes

Book a 30-minute session online, or double the fun by booking two back-to-back slots for a longer adventure. We’ve got you covered with all the equipment you need, plus buoyancy aids and full access to our changing facilities, so you can just show up and dive in!

Qualified sailors can also hire our sailing dinghies and windsurf boards. Simply drop us an email or give us a call on 01733 234193 to book your session.

Our friendly instructors are always on hand to help you pick the right activities, show you the ropes and make sure you feel confident and safe on the water.

Land Activities

It’s not just about watersports at Nene Outdoors, there’s plenty of adventure to enjoy on land too! From cycling around Nene Park to testing your skills on our climbing walls or at archery, there’s something for everyone.

Bike Hire

Hop on a bike and explore all that Nene Park has to offer! We’ve got a wide range of bikes for adults and children, including mountain bikes and e-bikes, so everyone can join in. Helmets are included free with every hire, so you can ride safely. Whether you’re out for a family fun ride or exploring at your own pace, cycling is the perfect way to see the Park.

Indoor Archery

Take aim and unleash your inner archer! Our 45-minute indoor archery sessions are available on selected dates during school holidays for everyone aged 8 and over, with extra adults-only and women-only sessions throughout the year. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to improve their skills, archery is a fun, hands-on way to challenge yourself.

Climbing Wall

Reach new heights on our mobile climbing walls! 45-minute sessions run on selected dates during school holidays and are suitable for ages 4 and up. Climb, challenge yourself, and see how quickly you can reach the top! Our climbing walls are also available to hire for events, just call us on 01733 234193 to find out more.
