We’re supporting the bid for Peterborough: City of Culture 2029

We’re thrilled to be supporting the Peterborough City of Culture 2029 bid led by Peterborough City Council, Peterborough Tourist Board, the Peterborough Cultural Alliance and other organisations across the city.

This bid is a bold and timely moment for the city; a statement of belief in the power of creativity to shape our future. We’re excited to be part of this collaboration: a city working together across its arts and cultural sector to tell an authentic story that reflects the energy, diversity, and ambition already alive here.

Our city’s identity is inseparable from its natural environment, and our landscapes, waterways, and green spaces are living cultural spaces that inspire creativity, support wellbeing, and invite people to gather, make, and connect. By weaving together culture, creativity, and nature, Peterborough can present a distinctive vision rooted in place and open to the world.

This shared ambition to become UK City of Culture 2029 brings together partners from across the city around a collective vision: creativity as a force that connects people, strengthens communities, and drives inclusive growth.
