Peterborough Arch is home

Yesterday we officially welcomed back the iconic Peterborough Arch sculpture (aka Bob!) to Thorpe Meadows. 

After an absence of two years and a lengthy restoration process by Hall Conservation, the sculpture was reinstated last week in its original position, striding towards the city centre and the cathedral.

The Mayor of Peterborough and the artist Lee Grandjean cut the ribbon to celebrate the sculpture’s return and we were joined by members of the Peterborough Civic Society, staff, volunteers and local supporters.
