Youth RYA Sailing – Stage 1
Learning to sail is an exciting and truly rewarding experience, and we’re here to help you enjoy every moment of it. Our RYA Sailing Scheme runs throughout the year at Nene Outdoors Watersports & Activity Centre, with each course taking place over two fun-filled days in a safe, supportive environment.
Perfect for beginners, this course introduces the essentials of dinghy sailing and helps build confidence on the water. You’ll learn how to launch and recover a boat, sail across the wind, steer, turn and get to know the basic parts of the boat. By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and confidence to enjoy the freedom that sailing brings.
All safety equipment is provided, including wetsuits and buoyancy aids, so you can focus on having fun and learning something new.
