Adult RYA Sailing Course – Level 1

Learning to sail is an exciting and rewarding experience, and our RYA Sailing Scheme at Nene Outdoors Watersports & Activity Centre is the perfect place to start your journey on the water. Running throughout the year, each course takes place over two fun and supportive days, designed to help you learn in a safe and welcoming environment.

During the course, you’ll get hands-on experience learning how to sail in different directions, along with important skills like launching and recovering your boat. By the end, you’ll be able to sail confidently in light winds under supervision, building a strong foundation for future sailing adventures.

All safety equipment is provided, including wetsuits and buoyancy aids, so you can focus on learning, having fun and enjoying your time on the water.
