Join local artisan felter and experienced teacher Eve Marshall for a relaxed, hands-on workshop where you’ll create your very own animal portrait. Using merino wool, curls, silk threads and yarn materials, you’ll design and build your piece from scratch.
In the morning, you’ll explore the art of wet felting, working together with warm water, soap and gentle agitation to bring your design to life. After a break for lunch, we’ll move on to needle felting, adding finer details and character to your portrait so your chosen animal really shines.
By the end of the day, you’ll take home a unique, approximately A4-sized artwork. No prior experience is needed, this workshop is perfect for beginners and those looking to try something new in a welcoming, friendly environment.
