Land at Eye

Back in 2024, Nene Park Trust purchased 552 acres of land at Eye (area to the East of Peterborough) with the purpose of developing a sustainable farming model on the site, with thanks to funding from NEIRF (Natural Environment Investment Readiness Fund).

The land includes a mix of arable land, farm and residential buildings. At this stage we have all sorts of exciting plans for the land including developing a sustainable farming model, increasing biodiversity, holding education sessions at the site and finding other ways the land can support the work of Nene Park Trust.

Our team of volunteers are currently spending time on the site laying hedges and we have further volunteer conservation sessions planned this year. Check back for further updates as this exciting project develops!
