Parking tariff increase from 1 February 2026
From the 1st February 2026, the parking tariff will be increasing at all Nene Park Trust car parks.
As a charity with no public funding towards running costs, Nene Park Trust relies heavily on parking income to enable it to continue to maintain, nurture and develop the beautiful landscapes of Nene Park and the wide range of leisure and education activities, heritage and events. Increasing parking charges at this time is necessary to meet increasing running costs and continue to make important improvements to the Park.
As a result of visitor parking payments over the last year, we have been able to continue to develop our calendar of events, make improvements to our play areas and paths and carry out important conservation and forestry work, among many other projects.
The tariff increase will see visitors to Ferry Meadows pay an additional 20-40p for their parking, across all time bands.
Our annual parking memberships will also be increasing at all our car parks but they still offer amazing value, with the Ferry Meadows car park membership working out at just £2.11 a week – that’s less than one regular parking visit for up to an hour!
