We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible volunteers to play a vital role in welcoming and supporting festival goers. Volunteers will work alongside staff to ensure that every festival attendee has a memorable and positive experience.

Volunteer Roles

There is a range of teams you can be involved in to help the festival run smoothly. You could be a part of the following teams and roles:

Visitor Arrival Team – this team will be the first point of contact for festival goers, helping them arrive safely and navigate to the festival arena. You will be the first volunteers people meet, helping set a fun and friendly atmosphere for attendees.

Visitor Experience Team – this team will be welcoming guests to the event, signposting attendees and spreading smiles, you will be the team that will create a fun and friendly atmosphere at the festival. The Visitor Experience volunteers will be stationed at various points through the festival or provide roaming support for attendees.

Performance Stewards Team – this team will help enrich the experience of the performers by ensuring they are supported and that performance spaces are safe and fun, with an accessible environment for visitors. Stewards will be stationed at our performance spaces including the Main Stage and Big Top.

Wellbeing Team – this team will support visitors and volunteers. Providing support for those who need a quiet place, a friendly conversation, or a refreshing drink.

Creative Workshops Team – this team will play a crucial part in supporting the creative workshops that will take place at the festival. Working with Peterborough Presents and their Peterborough Portraits workshops, or Nene Park Trust with their Kite Making activity.


The festival runs over three days in May 13th-15th. We are asking for at least 4 hours of availability over the weekend in one of our roles, but you are very welcome to volunteer for more!

We will need you to attend a volunteer briefing in the week running up to the festival to ensure you feel prepared and are fully informed.
