Follow an interesting, enjoyable and environmentally-friendly route from Peterborough city centre to Ferry Meadows, taking in some impressive trees along the way. The route follows the river Nene,  is 3.6 miles long and is suitable for all the family - kids can bring their scooters to help them! Download this leaflet with the route and information on the trees you will find and this leaflet with more information on tree ID.

We held The Big Tree Hunt event on Saturday 11 August 2018 when 11 people met in Peterborough cathedral square to do the walk and tree hunt together. We ended the walk at the PECT Green Festival, which was held at Ferry Meadows on the same day.

Have a look at this video of the same event we held in summer 2017.

We would love to know if you enjoyed the walk so please contact hannah.keeley@neneparktrust.org.uk or call 01733 308774 with any feedback.
