After school offer
As well as our full day courses Nene Park Trust is also able to offer shorter education sessions lasting for one hour. These activities are particularly suited to after school groups and clubs.
Our education staff will be able to advise on appropriate activities for the age and ability of the participants. Sessions last for one hour and are charged at £40 for up to 36 participants. This price includes full tuition and all materials and equipment used. Use of the Discovery Den education centre is not included in the price for short sessions but it may be available to hire separately on request.
If you are interested in booking a short session, please telephone 01733 234193 or complete the enquiry form. A member of the education team will then be in touch to discuss your individual requirements.
No Lions or Tigers to be found on this Safari but you will be surprised to find how many mini beasts live in the woods of Ferry Meadows! Our education team will take you on a mini safari to track them down and find out about their lives.
What would it be like to have the ears of a rabbit or the nose of a badger? Children will be encouraged to use all of their senses to explore the world around them in this selection of games and activities.
Children can take part in a range of activities designed to increase their confidence in finding their way using maps and compasses.
