This role would suit enthusiastic individuals who feel passionate about the Park and who feel comfortable in a public facing role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with and assist the Visitor Warden
  • Provide information and assistance to park visitors
  • Carry out checks and site patrols and file reports
  • Promote the Park Code

We would welcome applications from everyone fulfilling the criteria and able to give on average 2-4 hours per week during park opening hours.

Skills and capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoy engaging with people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Willingness to learn more about the Park and visitor offer
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check (if required) and relevant training
  • Willingness to work in all weathers
  • Ability to work as part of a team and unaccompanied
  • Reliability and flexibility
  • Lots of enthusiasm and a can do attitude
