Assist the Education Team in delivering a range of curriculum based activities to visiting school groups as well as Forest School sessions, home education groups and pre-school children.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in preparing materials and equipment for use by visiting groups
  • Meet and greet visiting groups on arrival
  • Support the Education Team in delivering activities and sessions
  • Pack away and tidy at the end of sessions

School visits usually take place on week days between 10:00am - 2:30pm with preparation starting from 9:15am on the day of a school visit. Visiting times of other groups will vary.

Skills and capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoy engaging with people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Willingness to learn more about the Park and visitor offer
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check (if required) and to undergo relevant training
  • Willingness to work in all weathers
  • Ability to work as part of a team and unaccompanied
  • Reliability and flexibility
  • Lots of enthusiasm and a can do attitude
