As of Wednesday 20 May a temporary diversion has been put in place along the River Nene at Long Meadow.

Due to Covid-19 there have been delays in getting new fencing for Long Meadow installed, allowing the public (and their dogs) to walk alongside the River without the risk of coming into contact with any of the cattle which graze that area.

We are hoping the contractor will be able to start new fencing the week beginning 25 May, with work continuing for a couple of weeks. As we are now in the middle of the main grazing season, the cattle have had to go back on the land and the temporary diversion put in place.

We hope this will only cause an inconvenience for a short amount of time. Thank you for your patience.
