Please help! Our mobility scooters are broken!
many years, Nene Park Trust has been proud to be able to provide mobility scooters,
for the use of members of the public, during their visits to Ferry
Meadows. The mobility scooters give those with limited mobility the opportunity to explore areas of the Park they wouldn't otherwise be able to, joining in with friends and family or taking time for themselves.
We originally had four working mobility scooters that were well used by many different visitors but over the last year, three of our mobility scooters have worn out beyond repair and are no
longer in use. We are now down to only one scooter which is also in dire need of replacement.
We would like to raise £5,000 to buy two new scooters that we can have ready for our visitors in time for the better weather in Spring. If you feel able to, please donate any amount, however small. You can donate online at our JustGiving page and there are also collection points in the Visitor Centre, the Ferry Meadows cafe and Lakeside Kitchen & Bar.
Please give what you can to help us improve the experience all our visitors have at Ferry Meadows. You can also see how we're doing by popping into the Visitor Centre over the next few weeks and see the appeal totaliser!
