Following the Government’s latest announcement about the new national lockdown starting on Thursday 5 November we would like to clarify what is happening to our services at Nene Park.

You will be pleased to hear that the Park will remain open throughout this new lockdown for our visitors to come, enjoy and exercise in. The car parks and toilet blocks will remain open to make visiting the Park easier for all. The playgrounds will also stay open for families to continue to enjoy.

Unfortunately, Nene Outdoors Watersports and Activity Centre will close to the public for the duration of the lockdown with only our school bookings continuing throughout November. Future bookings for corporate and education groups can still be made so do get in touch with the Nene Outdoors team to discuss any requirements at [email protected]

The Visitor Centre & Gift Shop in Ferry Meadows will also close from Thursday 5 November. However, you are now able to shop for many of our Visitor Centre products and gifts online at www.nenepark.org.uk/shop so do take a look online to tick off some of your Christmas shopping list.

Both cafes in Ferry Meadows will be offering a takeaway service but please note that there will be no indoor or outdoor seating available.

We do hope we will be able to reopen these various services again after the beginning of December but until then we hope that all our visitors continue to stay safe and social distance while in the Park, taking advantage of our hand sanitising stations and the vast areas to spread out in and enjoy the autumn colours.
