We would like to thank all of our visitors who came along to the public exhibition today Saturday 3rd November – it was a great success!

We held this exhibition in order to invite members of the public to learn more about our exciting proposal for a new activity centre at Lakeside, Ferry Meadows before we submit our planning application.

It’s set to include Olympic standard climbing as well as one of the country’s largest Clip ‘n’ Climb arenas for family users, a toddler play facility, an additional café and private hire facilities.

As a charity, our objective is to provide recreation for the public through the Park and its facilities, both for Peterborough’s residents and all our visitors. We believe that our new plans will further allow our visitors to make the most of the Park all year round, building on our 10-year strategy ‘Doing More with More’.

We had a fantastic turnout of just over 100 visitors, and we hope everyone who attended had a very interesting and informative day.

Don’t worry if you missed us though – all of the information displayed at the exhibition is now available for you to view here, and we can now reveal what the proposed building would look like in situ:

Have your say!

At the exhibition, we also provided feedback forms to allow us to collate the opinions and feelings of the public before we submit our planning application. Again, if you were unable to attend the event there is no need to worry – we now have an online survey available for all of our visitors to complete. We look forward to hearing your views!

The consultation will close on Sunday 11th November – so please submit all feedback by this date.
