Chair Jackie trained as a newspaper journalist and enjoyed a 10 year career in communications and publishing. She moved on to Director and CEO roles in national & international not-for-profit organisations. She now serves in NED and leadership mentoring roles, as well as running her own well-being practice, having retrained as a psychotherapist. Trustee Beki is a Chartered Engineer, who has worked with, managed and led people and businesses within the public and private sectors, locally and internationally. She continues to apply her MEng degree to policies and practicalities in railways and sustainable transport in the UK. Beki enjoys life in Peterborough with her family and is a committed cyclist and local campaigner. Read more
Trustee Christine is a lawyer who has worked with landowners and developers in the local region for many years. Through her business she has developed a particular expertise in advising on the long-term provision of community open spaces and shared facilities. Christine loves to be outdoors and is a great believer in the value of open spaces for physical and mental well-being, in managing the environment for those who come after us, and in accessibility for all. Trustee Jamie is Director, Data & Analytics for BGL Group’s Insurance Distribution & Outsourcing business and is responsible for the leadership, execution and delivery of the data strategy. Jamie is passionate about creating a culture that is collaborative, creative and commercial but where the impact on customers is considered at every step of the process. Outside work, Jamie is a keen football fan and an amateur brewer who enjoys the outdoors and cycling in the countryside. Read more
Trustee Linda is the Consumer Lines European IT Director for Chubb Insurance (global commercial insurer) and has worked in IT for 25 years within the Financial Services sector both Retail Banking and Insurance. She leads large scale IT teams, business mergers and transformation programs. She has strong governance, stakeholder management, financial management and supplier contract management skills. Trustee Gillian was a solicitor specialising in children's law for 15 years and then lead the governance and law directorate of Peterborough City Council from 1997. In 2002 she was appointed Chief Executive of Peterborough City Council and in 2015 she appointed as joint CEX of PCC and Cambridgeshire County Council, retiring in 2021. She was awarded an OBE for services to local government in 2009. Read more
Trustee Lucinda has lived in the city for 15 years and visits Nene Park on a regular basis with her children. Lucinda is a qualified teacher and currently works in a primary school as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator. She holds a BSC(Hons) degree in Ecological Science & Natural Resource Management and is also a Trustee at WestRaven Community Café and Garden CIO. Read more
Trustee Martin has 40 years marketing experience, working both client side to Marketing Director and for the last 18 years as Marketing Adviser and now Educator and Fellow of the IDM. He moved to Peterborough with Thomas Cook in 1994. He is also Chair of The Cresset and supports The National Literacy Trust and their work with ‘Peterborough Reads’. He is a campaigner for nature conservation and sustainable rural economy and you can also hear him present ‘Lazy Sunday’ on PCR 103.2fm Read more
Trustee Trained as a Chartered Surveyor in the rural sector, Tommy was a partner in Smith–Woolley (Newark) for 28 years and senior partner for 8 of them. He has been involved in renewable energy, initially helping set up wind energy, and latterly in solar. He was brought up in Leicestershire and moved to Rutland 25 years ago. He was High Sheriff in 2008/2009. Read more
