Visitors to our Soup & Soap Event at Nene Nursery can expect to take part in simple Soap mixing; using a pre-made Soap base, you can choose from a range of botanicals and clays to create a mini Soap bar to take home.

There will also be live Soup making in action to watch – visitors can take home a recipe card for a healthy & filling Vegetable Soup, as well a small bag of ingredients to recreate the soup at home.

Any visitors showing a Lottery ticket will be able to collect a bag of Seeds to plant at home, with thanks to National lottery players!

Enjoy spending time in this accessible Micro Plant Nursery and take part in the activities on offer which will run throughout the 11am-1pm event.

Donations welcome to help support our gorgeous Green Space which offers Wellbeing Sessions to NHS affiliated departments and charities.

The session is free, however please book a place so we can manage numbers of people. Thank you

Parking – nearest parking is at Ferry Meadows Visitor Centre (PE2 5UU) and a 5 minute walk south will take you to the Nursery (head southwards down Ham Farm Lane from the Visitor Centre, pass the Caravan Club’s entrance on the right hand side and continue south, until the path narrows and if you look to the right, you would see the railway track crossing the Lane, and as you then look across the road on the left, there is a wooden fence and gravel entrance which will take you to the nursery entrance). If accessible parking is required, please contact us by email: [email protected]
