Social walking group

Not sure where to go for a walk, or not keen on walking on your own? Join one of our Visitor Rangers for a social walk around Ferry Meadows and the wider Nene Park and meet like minded people.

The location and routes of the walks will be different each month with 2 opportunities to come along and see a different area of Nene Park.

Suitable for: 14yrs +

Cost: free to attend but places must be booked. Please book a place for everyone attending.

This is a children's taster workshop to introduce a younger generation to the wonderful world of willow. Join Martin from Rutland Willows as he takes you through the techniques you need to create a unique piece of work to take home.

Water Pay & Play Activities

At Nene Outdoors, we run a ‘Pay and Play’ scheme, providing visitors of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to enjoy the watersports we have on offer. Book for half hour sessions on line or for one hour, book in person at the Nene Outdoors reception, hire our equipment and use our facilities.

Camping at Nene Outdoors

Book a bell tent or pitch-only camping trip to Nene Park! Our campsites are small but perfectly formed, located in Ferry Meadows on the edge of Gunwade Lake, they have stunning views across the water and are discreetly tucked away from the bustle of the rest of the Park.
